Notes About This Concert
- The audience was particularly unruly at this concert, and just after Seven Seas Of Rhye, a fight broke out within Freddie's field of vision, which he addressed in a diplomatic manner:
- "Hey! Will you guys stop this shit? Just stop it over here, okay? Will you calm down? Otherwise we're not gonna do the show! You guys are ruining it for the people out there, okay? Everybody stand up and move back a bit, come on. Just calm down a bit. This is stupid. We don't like it like this."
- Brian later remarked that this was his least favorite concert; no surprise, as he had been pelted with a beer can and later refused to do the encores. The band talked him into it and he reluctantly agreed, though the usual break between Radio Ga Ga and We Will Rock You was omitted, presumably to get to the end of the show quicker.
- As they had done at the two Ireland shows in 1984, God Save The Queen was not performed at the conclusion of the concert.
