- Originally recorded and released by Del Shannon in 1961, the song was also covered by Lawrence Welk (1962), The Small Faces (1967), and Bonnie Raitt (1977), among others.
- Paul, Brian, and Roger recorded this song during sessions for The Cosmos Rocks in 2007/2008, and it was revealed that this was the cover version to be released on the album in the June 2008 issue of Classic Rock Magazine, though this decision was later changed. The song is now only available to purchase through ITunes.
