Having flitted around the periphery of the recording industry both on his own and as a member of obscure bands like Ziggy Stardust And the Spiders From Mars, experienced a career high when he co-wrote and performed Under Pressure with Queen, before drifting back into obscurity via another band, Tin Machine. Was ultimately reduced to bit-part acting.
