To coincide with the release of their first official live album, Live Killers, Queen released an excerpt from the concert as a single - with an acoustic rendition of Love Of My Life on one side, and Now I'm Here on the other. The single was their least successful in the UK since Keep Yourself Alive, reaching only number 63 upon its release in June 1979, which resulted in the promotional video for Love Of My Life being rarely seen until the release of the Greatest Flix home video four years later (it now features on the Greatest Video Hits 1 DVD).

For this piece, director Dennis De Vallance returned and filmed the song live on stage in Tokyo on 25th April that year, though interestingly the sound on the piece is taken from an entire different concert - the 2nd February 1979 gig at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany.

On tour, this haunting ballad penned by Freddie and originally included on the A Night At The Opera album had become a rest for Roger and John, as Brian played acoustic guitar and Freddie dueted with the ever eager fans. Naturally then, Roger and John only feature in the video as images which glide up the screen at times - and in this piece, even Freddie appears small in stature against the real stars of the piece: the audience.
