The success of Killer Queen surprised even the band, though it was apparent they had no immediate follow-up single in mind, which explains the relatively low-key release of Now I'm Here in January 1975. That same month, the band appeared on both Top Of The Pops and Granada TV's 45 to promote the new single, though footage of these performances are unavailable and presumably missing.
This wasn't much of a concern, for while the single peaked at a respectable #11 in the UK, it was never a worldwide hit, and its omission from any video compilations was understandable. However, in 1992, when Hollywood Records released two Stateside compilations, one of which ( Greatest Hits) featured Now I'm Here, a video was hastily assembled by the Torpedo Twins for the sister video release. Comprised of footage from the band's November 1974 concert appearance at the Rainbow Theatre, additional shots of the band backstage were also utilized, giving off a very "live" feel to the video. This same video was used again in 1998 on the Queen Rocks video compilation. However, when it came time to release the video on the 2002 Greatest Video Hits 1 DVD, a straightforward live performance from that same concert, with the live audio replacing the studio overdub on the earlier video, was used instead.
